Jeanne Roney | Property Management Consultant
Born in St. Petersburg and a lifelong Tampa Bay resident, Jeanne’s connection to the community runs deep. With nearly two decades of hands on property management experience, she brings a unique combination of local knowledge, real estate and investment experience, HOA leadership, renovation expertise, and perhaps most importantly a genuine understanding of people.
Jeanne has been involved in property management since 2007 and in real estate sales since 2020, with much of her focus on investment properties. She also owns and self-manages several rental properties, giving her firsthand insight into the decisions and challenges property owners face. She understands that successful property management is about more than collecting rent and coordinating repairs it is about protecting an investment while creating a place someone is proud to call home.
That philosophy shapes Jeanne’s approach to tenants as well. She strongly believes that while finding a good tenant is important, keeping a good tenant is even more valuable. Understanding what today’s residents want and need, maintaining properties thoughtfully, communicating well, and responding to concerns can create stronger relationships, reduce turnover and vacancies, and ultimately improve an owner’s long-term return.
Jeanne has served on two association boards and currently serves as President of her condominium association. This firsthand experience gives her an inside understanding of the sometimes-complicated relationships between associations, property managers, owners, tenants, vendors, and community members. It has also given her valuable insight into budgets, reserves, maintenance responsibilities, property improvements, vendor management, and the realities of navigating association rules and community expectations.
Renovation and design are also a big part of Jeanne’s life. Working closely with her husband, she has been heavily involved in renovating and improving their own properties and enjoys helping others do the same. She especially loves working with investors and looking beyond what a property is today to see what it can become understanding how thoughtful improvements can increase desirability, rental income, property value, and overall profitability.
Family is at the heart of Jeanne’s life and has helped shape the way she approaches property management. She and her husband have created a unique multigenerational living environment within their own multifamily property, where both her mother and mother-in-law live alongside three additional tenant households. Living on the same property with both family and tenants gives Jeanne a very personal perspective on the importance of balancing an owner’s responsibilities with the privacy, comfort, and needs of the people who live there. It is a daily reminder that an investment property can be both a business and someone’s home and successful property management respects both.
Her experience extends well beyond traditional property management. Jeanne has spent her adult career in sales, marketing, staffing, real estate, and property management industries that have taught her how to communicate, solve problems, negotiate, market effectively, and work with people from many different backgrounds.
This combination of property management experience, investment ownership, HOA leadership, real estate knowledge, renovation expertise, and deep local roots allows Jeanne to approach property management from a broader perspective seeing the entire picture and helping owners protect what they have today while recognizing the potential for what their property can become tomorrow.
Local Roots. Smart Management. Strategic Improvements. Stronger Investments.
